Chairperson for Women’s Football of Aweil, Sidonia Nyanath Lual, speaking on arrival of their team to Wau, asked the national sport Association to be more serious to care for players and administrators.
She says the national sport body surprised them on Friday that the tournament schedule is 15th of October and players should be ready on three days which is possible.
Head Coach for Aweil Women’s football team, Anyom Deng says the team is well prepared because the time is enough and the information came late.
She adds that the national Association should always prepare early to avoid challenges during the tournament.
Captain for the team says since ‘we reached here no one of the organizing committee has came to check on us, it is only our managers taking things of their pockets to help us’.
She hopes the sport body learns from this mistake and should end at them only.
Aweil Women football team arrived in Wau on Tuesday midnight for the South Sudan Peace Cup competition.
