The Minister of Information in Yei River State Mawa A. Moses commends the good work done by journalists, urging them to continue with their work despite hardships they are undergoing.

He spoke on Tuesday while addressing journalists when International Organization for Migration or IOM was starting to train media personnel on Ebola in the state.

The minister says the Yei is bordering DR Congo and because of the good work of journalists, people are able to know the existence of the Ebola in Congo.

‘It would be very hard for the people to know what is happening in the world without journalists’, he acknowledges.

Mawa believes that because of the low level of education of citizens of Yei, it will be hard to control Ebola if it reaches the state.

He calls the residence of Yei to pray that Ebola does not reach the area and asks for preparations to be in place.
