Head master of Bishop Mazzolari Memorial Secondary School Daniel Reech Makom says the administration prohibits carrying mobile phones in school, smoking and drinking alcohol.

The ban came on Wednesday when school authorities invited the parents to brief them about behaviors of their children during school hours to find a way forward.

Good News Radio quotes Reech Makom blaming the parents for failing to advise their children at home to behave well.

He discourages use of mobile phones in school and warns that the administration will seize phones from the students.

Makom calls on the parents to meet regularly to shape out bad behaviors in the students in order for the children to grow upright.

Julia Amaan who talks on behalf of the parents, calls on students to stop misbehaving in school and stick to learning only.

The speakers made the remarks to Good News Radio on Wednesday during  their meeting at Holy Family Parish.
