A priest in the Catholic Diocese of Yei requests Christians to pray for the leaders of the country and those in authority to be honest and responsible for their people.
Fr Sebastian Pololo Enock quoted the Bible, saying St Paul was a destroyer of the community in Damascus, but he confessed and later became a sound leader.
Christ tells the Christians to be good stewards and appreciates a servant who looks a head in making friends.
Fr Sebastian advises people to gain riches in a right way, but not through shortcuts.
The priest was giving homily on Sunday at Christ the King Cathedral in Yei.
