The Director-General of Prison Services in Tonj State, Marko Awoch Kuot Madut on Tuesday confirmed killing of their staff on Monday evening around eight PM.
He told Don Bosco Radio that alcohol influenced late Aru Deng to start shooting randomly at his colleagues.
He points out that the case of the late is within the unit and does not concern any one or related to community.
The director-general stresses that he has arrested a good number of people who were drunker in the unit.
The official made the remarks in an interview to Don Bosco Radio and the station could not reach relatives of the deceased at the moment in Tonj.
