The Director-General of Wildlife Force in Tonj State Madhieu Jangkouk warned parents against leaving their children to play in the river side.
He cautions people to be careful of their safety and avoid places where dangerous animals are living, Don Bosco Radio reports.
‘It is our collective responsibility to advice kids who do not know the effect of staying in or at the river’s side in the evening’.
The Director-General assures the entire public that it is not only hippopotamus that is dangerous to human being, but also other animals in the river.
He urges the people of Tonj State to be responsible of their lives and the vulnerable people in the state.
The Director-General made the remarks to Don Bosco Radio on Tuesday in Tonj.
