The Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Yei is telling the government to defend the nation and its people

The Bishop encouraged the civilians to forgive the soldiers for killing innocent lives as Christ has done.
He asks the people to unite and stand together for peace to prevail in the country.
As Christians we need to forgive whoever does wrong to us He stresses.
Lodu believes that one day the people of Yei will have lasting peace.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu spoke on Friday during the funeral of a citizen who was shot by the Government soldiers along Yei-Maridi Road on Wednesday.
