UJOSS warns journalists against politics and journalism

The Interim Chairperson for Union of Journalists or UJOSS, Oliver Modi Philip has warned journalists against serving politics, journalism and other profession at the same time.
 
He spoke during his visit to Torit State on Wednesday to review and conduct election for new executive members for Eastern Equatoria region.
 
Modi acknowledges the current situation in South Sudan, where journalists work under threats.
 
He appeals to media practitioners to remain neutral in their profession.
 
Torit State Minister of Information Margret, Idwa Okuye admits that the government and media cannot work without the other.
 
She appeals to journalists to observe their code of conduct.
