South Sudan will support Sudan Sovereign Council and the Sudan opposition groups in their conflicts, says President Salva Kiir Mayardit during the opening of Sudanese political peace talks in Juba on Monday.
He advises the groups to be attentive while resolving their country’s conflicts.
The head of Sudan Revolution Front, Dr Alhadi Idriss Yahiya, asked the Sudan Sovereign Council to unite for peace and stability and correct the path.
He urged the parties to avoid being selfish to bring positive outcome by opening the borders for trade and free movement of people in both sides.
The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement of North or SPLM-N leader Abdal Aziz Adam Al Hilu, hopes for peaceful talks and maintenance of the accord.
He advises all parties to value and keep the history of the country safely and wishing that the talks be the last forum.
Sudan Sovereign Council Deputy Chair, General Hamdan Dagalo (Hemeti) vows to peace, forgiveness and development in the country.
The Sudanese political parties’ delegations started their talks on Monday after they met with President Kiir Mayardit and the opposition groups.
