The ministry of General Education in Tonj State on Monday suspended primary eight mock exams supposed to take place on September 4th, till further notice.
Speaking to Don Bosco Radio, Director-General Manyang Atak Athuai says the examination has been postponed due to technical problem.
‘I want to apologise to the public and my students at large that, the time table for the mock examinations was 4th of September. But there was a technical error in the machine, the Director General apologises’.
Atak encourages pupils to be patient and not to lose hope because the ministry is expecting exams to kick off soon.
‘It is not a man making. It is a machine making. We’re not late; we didn’t waste their time to read. It is because of the machine which got broken that is the reason why the examination is not going to take place on the forth’ Atak added.
The official made the remarks to Don Bosco in Tonj.
