Traders dealing in onion and other goods complain that the business is giving them a lot of loses due to poor roads connection in South Sudan.
Sudanese trader Osman Abdel Rehim Modawi sells onion told Good News Radio that transportation of commodities from Juba to Bahr el Ghazal is becoming risky as roads are flooded.
He says that one bag cost 15m000 South Sudanese Pounds and trip to Rumbek cost 250,000 SSP.
Modawi points out that he gets little profit and only continues to work to maintain the customers.
The Sudanese urges the citizens to stop revenge killing which hinders agriculture, and embark on development of the nation.
Rumbek was known of Onion and tobacco production since 1990s but due to revenge killing, living in swampy areas become dangerous to farmers in the region.
