Governor of Tonj State Mathew Mathiang Magoordit on Tuesday issued decrees, relieving the former deputy mayor and appointed two new deputies.
A decree Don Bosco Radio saw removed Abraham Mabior Malith and appointed Makol Akol Deng Deputy Mayor for Administration and Finance and Cyrilo Gong Wol for Physical Infrastructure and Development.
The governor thanked the former deputy for the good services he rendered to the community of Tonj Municipality.
In the second decree, the state governor appointed John Garang Mathiang, chairperson of Human Rights Commission.
The gubernatorial decrees were effective from Tuesday evening.
