UN children agency or UNICEF donated 150 buckets of chlorine to the office of public health in Rumbek, Western Lakes State, confirms officer.
Public health officer James Magok Akech on Tuesday told Good News Radio that the chlorine would be distributed to the public to be used for clean water.
He added that the chemical can also be used to reduce waste product in the pit latrines.
Magok explained that Public Health office lacks sewage tankers for taking human wastes from latrines in Rumbek.
The officer made the remarks to Good News Radio on Tuesday.
