A Medical doctor working for Life Care, private clinic has been locked up in police custody following the death of a patient last Friday in Rumbek.
According to Good News Radio, post mortem results from state hospital have revealed that the deceased identified as Laat Marial Kodi, died of medical reaction.
Chief Inspector of Police Lieutenant Colonel Deng Malual, confirmed that Abiaza Jimmy was arrested in connection to the death of the person he injected on 1st August 2019 who later died on 2nd August after he was referred to state hospital.
He added that Jimmy was sent to prison and relatives of the deceased will follow legal procedures against the accused.
The inspector cautions the public to first visit hospital before accessing drugs in private clinics to avoid such regrettable mess.
