A priest in the Catholic Diocese of Yei told Christians on Sunday that worldly things withdraw the attention of Christians from attending to God’s way.
Fr Sebastian Pololo Enock encouraged the faithful to give their spiritual life more importance than other things in the world, Radio Easter reports.
Christians are born, died and rose from the dead with Christ and are new creation, the priest mentions.
Fr Pololo urges faithful to leave the things which prevent them from visiting neighbours.
The priest was giving homily on Sunday at Christ the King Cathedral in Yei.
