Assistant Parish Priest of Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral in the Catholic Diocese of Torit encouraged Christians to continue praying with faith for durable peace to prevail in the country.

He encourages Christians not to give up in prayer for peace in South Sudan because God has his own time to answer prayer.
‘We must be patience, and consistent in our prayers, if God does not answer our prayers we should not give up let us keep on praying and God at his own time will answer our prayers’, Fr David explains.
The Assistant Parish Priest told Christians to value one another and act as mediators to the suffering population.
He advised Christians to love one another as people of one family.
‘We should intercede with our brothers and sisters who are in problems who are in difficulties. We must be in the same intercession to intercede for them in their own difficult time, said the assistant parish priest,’ he points out.
The assistant parish priest was preaching at Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral in Torit on Sunday.
