He was speaking on the 52nd World Communication Day anniversary.
Father Joseph told staff of Don Bosco Radio to be responsible and know the kind of news people need.
The priest appeals to the media houses not to release news that creates tension and panic to societies.
He calls upon all media houses in South Sudan and the world at large to give accurate information to people for peace to prevail.
The Father Cane made remark to Don Bosco Radio staff during recollection mass on Saturday in Tonj.
