The Governor of Gogrial State points out that the four-day conference in Wau did not address the main reason behind the conflict between farmers and cattle keepers in Tonj, Wau and Gogrial States.
Victor Atem Atem says he is totally convinced of the root causes of the conflict.
The governor points that armed officers should be stakeholders in any position until there is lasting peace.
He urges that citizens should not fight over borders because it is the role of the national government.
Atem was speaking during the peace conference in Wau.
