Yei River State government wants to visit five refugees’ camps in Uganda that hosts a big number of South Sudanese, discloses Governor’s Advisor on Political Affairs.
Jacob Aligo reveals to Radio Easter that if the host government can allow them, they would like to visit five camps including the urban refugee settlements.
‘If resources allow us we intend to visit five camps in Uganda and disseminate the Revitalised Peace Agreement to those in Arua, Koboko and Moyo’, He adds
The Advisor adds there are no clear information about refugees in Congo especially those in Aba and Bringi of Iture Province.
‘We have not considered going to Congo to visit the refugees there because there is no clear information about the refugees’ situations in Aba and Ituri province’ the advisor explains.
Aligo clarifies that visiting Congo needs some arrangement with the authorities of the host country.
