People should stand together as one nation to celebrate the independence of South Sudan, says Diocesan Administrator of the Catholic Church of Wau in his message ahead of Independence Day celebration.
Fr. Marko Mongu Odilio, says the independent day doesn’t free only one person but all South Sudanese, Voice of Hope Radio reports.
‘People should not ignore this day, but all of us need to celebrate as part of the nation’, Fr. Mongu emphasizes.
Fr Mongu appeals to all people to pray for the soul of those who lost their lives during the liberation struggle to bring this country South Sudan.
The Diocesan administrator urges South Sudan citizens not to stand as tribes, but as a liberated and one people.
The diocesan administrator was speaking to Voice of Hope Radio on Monday in Wau.
