Hundreds of vulnerable people in Agok area of Wau are suffering due to lack of access to services in town.
 
Voice of Hope Radio quotes chief of Agok Peter Monylet Deng saying the bridge connecting to town collapsed last month making it difficult for civilians to get basic services.
 
He adds last week vulnerable group of blind and sick people fell into a hole on their way after receiving their ratio from a centre.
 
Resident of Agok Lawrence Malok asks the government to speed up to the repair of the bridge to easy movement to Wau town.
 
Deputy Mayor for land and environment Makuac Deng Madut says the municipality has started the repair of Agok Bridge on Thursday.
 
He mentions logistical challenges as a reason for the delay in the maintenance of the bridge.
 
The deputy mayor encourages people of Agok to be patient and soon the reconstruction of the bridge will be completed.
