Wau girls performed better in 2018/2019 South Sudan Certificate exams

Girls performed better in 2018/2019 South Sudan Certificate exams with 20.1 percent compared to last year, according to Wau State Minister of Education.
 
Mario John Nyibang appreciates parents and schools for the good work of female candidates increasing from 57.3 to 77.4 percent.
 
The minister encourages families and school administration to continue giving girls more time for revising their subjects to increase the percentage to 80 or more next academic year.
 
John asks the ladies who will sit for this academic year to work hard to realize better results.
 
Standard Secondary School dominated the first ten positions with Wau Comprehensive taking number seven and John Paul sharing number ten.
 
Seven top students were male and three were females.
 
The results were announced on Wednesday at the State Ministry of Education in Wau.
