The Commissioner of Pageri County is urging his citizens and South Sudanese in general to reform and unite for peaceful coexistence.
Emilio Igga Alimas says it is everybody’s responsibility to work hard for peace and development.
The Commissioner was speaking in Nimule during the visit of Torit Catholic Bishop Stephen Ameyu Martin Mulla last week.
Igga says citizens expect peace to exercise their rights freely.
He says Nimule hosts every citizen regardless of ethnicity, race or tribe.
Igga encourages Bishop Stephen Ameyu Martin Mulla to visit the area again to console and give hope to the citizens of Pageri County who are heartbroken.
The Commissioner states that the people of the area were destructed by the war and that there is need for counselling to restore hope.
He also points out the need for reconciliation to realize love and unity.
