St Francis youth urges Bishop to support their activities

The chairman of the youth of St Francis of Assisi Parish in Nimule is urging the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Torit to support their activities.
 
Mude Emmanuel Malish calls on Bishop Stephen Ameyu Martin to bring back diocesan youth forum that connect youth in the whole diocese, Radio Emmanuel reports.
 
He mentions the challenge of mobility limiting pastoral work of young people of St Francis of Assisi’s Parish in Nimule.
 
Another youth, Kidega Patrick, calls for the capacity building to the young people on liturgical music.
 
He also urges Bishop Ameyu to initiate more vocational schools in the diocese to help the drop out boys and girls to accomplish their vocations.
 
He suggests reunification of St Francis of Assisi, Nimule and Our Lady of Assumption in Loa Parishes to better coordinate youth activities in the two areas.
 
Responding to complaints of youth, Bishop Ameyu says the diocese is ready to send those willing to study sacred music in Kenya so they help at all levels.
 
The catholic prelate encourages the youth to be patient until peace prevails to resume the cooperation between the Parishes of Loa and Nimule.
 
He says after visiting Our Lady of Assumption’s Parish in Loa, it is empty as Church properties got destroyed and people were forced to evacuate the place.
