St Francis parish urges Bishop to support activities of young people

Youth of St Francis of Assisi’s Parish in Nimule are urging Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Torit to support activities of young people.
 
Chairman Mude Emmanuel Malish calls on Bishop Stephen Ameyu to retrieve the diocesan youth forum that unites youth from different parishes, radio Emmanuel reports.
 
He mentions lack of transport limiting the pastoral work of young people at the parish.
 
Another youth Kidega Patrick calls for capacity building to the young people on liturgical music.
 
He also urges Bishop Ameyu to initiate more vocational schools in the diocese to help those who dropped outs to accomplish their dreams.
 
Kidega suggests the reunification of parishes of St Francis of Assisi and Our Lady of Assumption in Loa for coordinating of youth activities.
 
Bishop Ameyu says the administration is ready to send those willing to study sacred music in Kenya so they will be helpful in both the diocese and Parishes.
 
He encourages the young people to be patient until peace prevails to resume the cooperation between parishes of Loa and Nimule.
 
The Catholic prelate explains that Our Lady of Assumption Parish in Loa is empty as Church properties got destroyed and people were forced to evacuate the area.
