Students of Rumbek Health Sciences Institute concluded a successful election of their guild president.
The elections were conducted at the campus premises on Thursday.
School administrator Mawut Santos Kuch who chaired the electoral committee, says the students’ elections were successful, free and fair.
There were three students who contested for the position. Among them were Amor Meen Marong, Andrew Chol Majak and Malook Thon Malook.
Elected Guild President, Malook Thon Malook appreciates the students for the trust bestowed upon him.
He promises to cooperate to lead the institute with transparency, unity and respect.
Acting Principal for Rumbek Health Sciences Institute Joseph Deng Makur appreciates the electoral committee and students for the peaceful elections.
He says the body will help the administration in solving students’ affairs in the school.
Rumbek Health Sciences Institute is a public institution. It was opened by defunct lakes state government in 2007 and later taken over by the national ministry of health in 2011.
