The Governor of Tonj State created new county known as Yar County immediately on the first day of his arrival from Juba.
Maj General Mathew Mathiang Magoordit also relieved Commissioner of Wanhalel County Karlos Kueljang Mayen and reappointed him after the creation of the new County.
The Governor also relieved two consultants, Severino Philip Baiza Consultant for Information, Communication and Technology in the Ministry of Information, Culture, Youth and Sports and Arop Mawik Consultant for human rights.
The constitution allows governors to relieve and appoints new commissioners.
