South Sudan refugees in Uganda celebrate World Refugees Day in Pagrinya

South Sudanese Refugees in Ayilo One and Two Settlements celebrate the World Refugees Day with their brothers and sisters from other camps and host communities in Pagrinya, near Atiak in Northern Uganda.
 
Paul Gai Deng, Chairperson of Refugee Welfare Council Two in Ayilo Two Settlement, says they are prepared to commemorate their day.
 
He says the day will enable them to utter out their difficulties in different sites with memories from home.
 
Elizabeth Nyariak Mayiik, of Ayilo Two while receiving her June ratios says they are ready to celebrate the day.
 
She adds refugees are also happy to hear the resent signing of the Revitalized Peace Agreement and the formation of the transitional government to realize lasting harmony.
 
Refugees Welfare Council Two officer in Ayilo Two, Awi Joseph, expresses their readiness to celebrate together with the host communities to build relations.
 
He discloses that they ask host communities to give them land for cultivating various crops to supplement the dry ratios by NGOs.
 
Last year South Sudan Refugees in Uganda celebrated World Refugee Day in Ayilo Settlement. 
 
This year all camps  gathered in Pagrinya to commemorate the day.
