Bishop Ameyu cheerfully welcomed in western denary

Christians of Christ the King’s Parish in Magwi Western Denary turned up with joy to welcome the bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Torit.
 
Stephen Ameyu Martin Mulla’s reception took place few meters away from Magwi town as they walked to the Mausoleum of Fr Leopoldo Anywa for the Bishop to pay his homage, Radio Emmanuel reports.
 
During the welcoming remarks, Parish Priest Fr Nelson Afatio with humility in his heart welcomes Bishop Ameyu to the Parish.
 
Fr Afatio states that the visits of Bishop to the Parish in Magwi brings hope and strength to the Christian’s faith.
 
Bishop Ameyu applauds the Christian Community of Magwi for the warm reception.
 
He urges believers to imitate Fr Leopoldo who expressed his faith in serving God’s people.
 
The Catholic prelate also encourages Christians to prepare themselves to receive the holy sacraments.
 
Bishop Ameyu celebrated Holy Mass on Sunday and ministered sacrament of confirmation to aspirants.
