A three day workshop organized by South Sudan Council of Churches or SSCC on action plan for peace awareness has concluded on Friday in Yei.
Speaking during the closure the Bishop of Episcopal Diocese Yei appreciates the SSCC for the elaborate message on Hate speech in Yei, Radio Easter reports.
Hillary Luate Adeba says the Council of Churches responded to the cry of the people in Yei by carrying out this workshop.
He urges the peace partners to become more active because there are many problems to be resolved in order to restore confidence of the people of Yei.
The ECSS Bishop mentions that UNMISS as peace partners asked the members of the ecumenical committee of Yei to have a budget to support efforts for reconciliation but the UN agency did not comply.
The ECSS prelate made the statement at the closure of the workshop organized by the South Sudan Council of Churches in Yei on Friday.
