Night patrol and other organized forces should be alert at night for tight security in the town, says mayor.
Lino Dafaallah Danga on Wednesday said issues of theft of cattle have been rampant in the town due to lack of proper security, Don Bosco Radio reports.
He clarifies that thieves are not from within, but from other neighbouring states, which always causes panic to civilians in the state.
The state government and the municipal council fully support night patrols to ensure that civilians are safe, he discloses.
The mayor promises to facilitate all security issues and night guards.
This week the issues of cattle thefts inside the town have become very high in the state quarters which led the governor to declare curfew for one month by in the state.
