Wau State Governor urges citizens to avoid spreading rumours which can create panic and conflicts among communities.
 
Angelo Taban Biajo says rumours are dangerous weapons which can scatter people and prevent development in the country, Voice of Hope Radio reports.
 
He advises that all people should stand strong to fight against rumours which create panic and conflicts among South Sudanese.
 
Taban asks people to prioritize peace and religion as their first choices so that stability and progress could prevail in South Sudan.
 
Governor Angelo Taban made the remarks on Tuesday during the celebration of Eid Fitr at Al Moulid square in Wau town.
