Wau Mayor appeals for unity among people in the state during the celebration of Eid al Fitr.
According to Voice of Hope Radio, Arkangelo Anyar Anyar says people of Wau should bury tribalism, discrimination and to remain united as they celebrate feast of Ramadan.
The Mayor adds that the government is committed to implement the revitalized peace agreement.
He stresses that people should stop listening to rumours because those spreading false information want to loot properties.
The Minister of Gender, Child and Social Welfare Christina Gabriel Ali points out that all holy books talk about peaceful co-existence and reconciliation among human beings whether Muslim, Christian or pagan.
The speakers made their statements during the celebration of Eid al Fitr on Tuesday in Wau.
