Yei Subcommittee today launched the referendum vote at Freedom Square.

ECS bishop Hillary Luate Adeba said at the launch that it was a day of thanksgiving to God for the gift of the referendum, Easter Radio reported.

Bishop Luate added that people should thank the Lord for this painful and extensive journey because nobody knew that the Southerners would reach this day.

Bishop Luate thanked all the people who have contributed towards the success of the referendum which is just two days away.

In the same occasion Sarah Natalina, who chairs the Yei River County Women Association, encouraged the youth to take the lead in the referendum since they are the future of the nation.

Ms. Natalina urged the women to cast their votes.
