The Secretary of National Pre-Transitional Committee says minimal incidents of violence have been reported in the country except clashes in Lainya County of Yei River and communal fight in Bahr El- Gahzal State.
Martin Elia Lomuro says the security mechanism teams will start the process of the cantonment areas on June15th, 2019.
He adds that the IGAD Council of Ministers endorsed the extension of the Pre-Transitional Period for six months.
The Secretary mentions that the parties have submitted names of their representatives to IGAD for the disarmament, demobilization and Re-Integration
Exercise as required by the agreement.
