The Acting Governor of Tonj State is appealing to citizens to fight against food insecurity during the rainy season.
Santino Ding Wek was speaking on Thursday during the launch of Agriculture season for 2019 under the theme ”Smart Climate and Sustainable Agriculture”, Don Bosco Radio reports.
Ding Wek urges citizens to put much effort on agriculture and stop communal conflicts and embrace peace.
Minister of Agriculture James Ayiek Bath explains that tractors are available to fight hunger.
He calls on farmers to purchase fuel and fill the tractors to cultivate.
Ayiek appreciates the people who attended the launch of the agriculture and wished them good luck.
The one day Agriculture inauguration brought government officials, Head of organized forces, partners and different bodies of community members within the state.
