Rumbek County Police Inspector confirmed and described the death of Ugandan teachers of Hope and Resurrection Secondary School as ‘great loss to South Sudan’.
Colonel Peter Makoi Amerdit says the dead of Charles Kule and Binsiima Willis is not only a loss to their family but also to South Sudan at large.
The late Deputy Principal Charles Kule and his colleague Willis Herbert Binsiima were shot dead in Apet, Rumbek.
Colonel Makoi says the two teachers were killed after Kenyan driver knocked down Amonyping county east Executive Chief Makur Kueider.
Then unknown armed men stopped the car and killed Charles Kule and Herbert Binsiima.
Colonel Makoi adds that forces have been deployed in the area to pursue the culprits and bring them to book.
The Police Officer was speaking to Good News Radio on Monday at police station in Rumbek.
