The listeners of Don Bosco Radio in Tonj State tell parents that there should be a gap between the first born and second child for proper management of kids in families across the country.
One of the callers Akit Shanan mentions that South Sudan cannot develop when families are having many children.
He says people should create space of two to three years while breastfeeding the child in order to grow well.
Makol Majok, another caller explains that there should be implementation of family planning for the progress of children in the country.
‘Many children are on the streets not because that they don’t have parents, but because of random of giving birth without family planning’, he notes.
Gloria Nyidhal comments that there should be understanding between a husband and a wife, to have a gap of one and half years for better breastfeeding.
‘Men think that breastfeeding is a simple work, but it is through hardship and pain”, she revealed.
Nyidhal urges all citizens of South Sudan to make proper plans on marriage because having many wives and children leads to poverty within the nation.
