Wau State Ministry of Education acknowledges the great efforts partners are doing on successful education activities.
According to Voice of Hope Radio, Pasquale Kamilo, Director for Planning Budgeting appreciations came when the state and Peace Corps and UNICEF organized a one-day peace rally on peace which brought together twelve government schools.
He adds that the aim of this celebration is to build peace education, life skills and unity among learners in the state.
Kamilo explains that the ministry has introduced new life skill syllabus and peace building education in schools.
The program is to empower learners with good life skill activities including unity environmental activities and gander-based violence among tribes of South Sudan.
The celebration brought the learners from different schools in the presence of intellectuals and UN agencies’ representatives to courage the spirit of peace, education and life skill programs in schools.
The official made this remark during peace occasion this afternoon at youth center, Wau.
