A very expensive US dollar is threatening the business community in Yei River County and making commodities more costly for everyone.
Bismarck Abdalla is the financial officer for Yei Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture. He told Easter News that the value of the dollar has affected prices of goods in the market.Mr. Abdalla said the state revenue charges were also high and in the end it the consumers have to pay for it.
Mr. Abdalla urged the business community to cooperate and bear with the situation hoping prices will stabilize after the referendum.
He encouraged the business people to cast their vote on the referendum in order to determine the country they want and their businesses operate in a stable environment.
