The education department of the Catholic Diocese of Rumbek with support from Austrian Development Agency conducted a two-day seminar on peace building and conflict management.
Education Field Coordinator of Rumbek Diocese Robinson Odong Wani told Good News Radio that the training aims at promoting non-violent environment.
The coordinator appeals to teachers, parents and guidance to be ambassadors of peace and foster unity in schools and their localities.
He adds that peaceful co-existence is so important and should be extended beyond for the betterment of schools, community and the country at large.
Odong wonders where the spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood during liberation days has disappeared.
He calls on South Sudanese to leave in peace countrywide.
The workshop brought together forty teachers and twenty parents from different schools within Rumbek town.
The two-day workshop concluded on Tuesday.
