The Vicar General of El Obeid catholic Diocese on Sunday called on the congregation to imitate Jesus in his word when he says: ‘I am the Good Shepherd’.
Fr Edward Anthony preached that each person is invited to be good in every task given being a leader, farmer, cattle keeper, teacher or a clergy, Voice of Peace Radio reports.
He mentions that Jesus gave this great parable of Good Shepherd to follow in Christians lives so that all humanity lives in harmony.
The Vicar general stressed that Jesus died on the cross because He loves people and Christians should also love one another and have spirit of serving each other.
Fr Anthony argues the faithful to leave the beauty of the world which leads them astray and better to stick to loving the church and give room in their heart for God to live.
