The Emeritus Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Torit on Sunday told Christians at Christ the King Cathedral that the people of Yei are known for being peaceful.
According to Bishop Paride Taban Abraham Kenyi, in the whole Equatoria region, the people of Yei are not supporters of killing.
The Emeritus Bishop encourages the people of Yei to continue with the spirit of good behavior.
He believes that the visit of the members of the South Sudan Council of Churches will bring peace to Yei.
Bishop Taban was speaking at Christ the King Cathedral on Sunday in Yei.
