The committee formed to resolve the Kuarjena incident between cattle keepers and host community reports that the area is calm.
Acting Minister of Local Government confirmed to the media that security situation is normal and the final report has been presented to the state governor.
He adds that, the committee was tasked to find out the root causes to the conflict between the two communities and suggests suitable solutions to the problem.
Minister of Local Government of Tonj State Kon Bol You says they are ready to protect citizens and find a concrete measures to resolve the border issues.
The officials made these remarks at Wau State Council of Ministers after their arrival from Kuarjena.
