The death of media icon and hero, Alfred Taban Lo-Gune attracted hundreds of foreign journalists to South Sudan.
 
Juba Monitor Chief Editor Anna Nimiriano Nunu says about two hundred international journalists are already in Juba and more are on their way to the city.
 
She says many are expected to arrive before the body of the late veteran journalist and MP could arrive in Juba at 2:00 PM.
 
The Editor says East African journalists mainly from Uganda and Kenya are crossing direct to Kajo-Keji to cover the burial that is expected to be on Sunday.
 
Alfred Taban Lo Gune died on Saturday April 27, of diabetes and blood pressure at Nakasero Hospital in Kampala, Uganda.
 
The body of the late veteran journalist is arriving in Juba on Thursday at 2: 00 and a requiem mass will take place at All Saints Cathedral in Juba.
 
The late will be taken to the National Assembly on Friday morning for his fellow MPs to pay their last respect.
 
The remains of the late MP and veteran journalists will be flown to Kajo-Keji on Saturday for final rest.
