The Catholic Bishop of Tombura-Yambio concluded his pastoral visit to the Western Deanery and returned to the office on Tuesday.
Bishop Eduardo Hiiboro Kussala said they had a beautiful Easter celebration in Mupoi and people have been renewed spiritually, Anisa Radio reports.
The Bishop mentions that during the meeting they were able to draw some sort of roadmap on what to do.
He adds that during his visit to the Western Deanery they had opened conversations together with Tombura State government and some partners in Mupoi for peace and development in Greater Western Equatoria region.
Western Deanery comprises of seven parishes including Mupoi, St. Francis of Asisi Gambunakpe, St. Mary Tombura, Mabaiku, Ave Maria, St. Thomas and Maringindo Parishes.
Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocese is divided into four Deaneries which include Eastern, Central, Midwest and Western Deaneries
