The communities of Aluak-Luak and Geer Counties in Yirol West have agreed to settle their differences and promote peaceful coexistence amidst them.

The decision came after a dialogue meeting between the two communities organized by Disabled Agency for Rehabilitation and Development, or DARD in partnership with Saferworld.

DARD Project Officer Aweng Francis Makuei in Aluak-Luak appreciates the communities for agreeing to settle their differences.

Francis urges the two groups to work for reconciliation and peaceful coexistence in the society.

Aluak-luak County Commissioner, George Anyaak, calls on the citizens to respect each other and live together as one community.

Saferworld and DARD are working with communities of different tribes to settle their disputes through dialogues.
