Residents of Akorogbodi in Yambio County have organized thanks-giving prayers to praise God for restoring peace in their area.
The get-together started with a holy mass presided over by Vicar General Thomas Bagbiowia of Tombura-Yambio Catholic Diocese.
Speaking During the occasion, State Minister of Local Government Simon Bakama appreciates the citizens of Akorogbodi for the good initiative.
He encourages other communities to emulate the gesture by residents of Akorogbodi.
Bakama appeals to parents to take good care of their children.
Hundreds of citizens, local government and State officials participated in the occasion in Yambio.
