The Democracy Bus that started operating in Yei River County on December 13, 2010 today reached today its last stop.
Eric J. Moses, manager of Yei Community Resource Centre that was behind the initiative, told Easter Radio that he was grateful that the Democracy Bus was able to achieve its objectives.The bus visited many places in Yei and Lainya counties to promote voter education for the referendum.
Mr. Moses said that some 4,000 people were reached by the initiative.
Mr. Moses urged the people whose areas were not covered by the bus to tune to radio stations in order to learn more about the vote.
He asked citizens to remain calm and provide a peaceful environment for the vote.
Mr. Moses thanked the civic educators for the work well done and the communities for the reception to the Democracy Bus.
Her added that he believed citizens will cast their vote wisely.
