The Disable Agency for Rehabilitation and Development or DARD in partnership with Saferworld has on Friday begun two days training on community security and peace building program in Gok State.
The training targets thirty local authorities in the State to learn new skills and knowledge on community security management and peace building in the society.
DARD Project Coordinator Michael Makuac says the participants include local chiefs and Payam administrators from different counties in Gok State.
Saferworld Project Coordinator William Mapuor says the formal and informal authorities training aims at strengthening officials on community security and peace building in the society.
He adds that the training will improve community relationship and behaviour change in communities on gender perspective.
The speakers made the remarks during two days training on peace building in Gok State.
